We have utilized the services of Sunshine Communication Services since the start of our transplant program at Mayo Clinic in February 1998. Through the years, our program has grown and gone through many changes and we are proud to be one of the busiest and premier transplant programs in the country. Almost every organ offer, whether they’ve resulted in a transplant or not, has been received first by Sunshine Communication Services. We have relied on their excellent service through the years as they’ve fielded tens of thousands of phone calls. Each call is handled as if it’s the first, with every operator aware of the importance of quickly contacting the procurement coordinator on call to begin the process of organ evaluation, which ultimately leads to saving a life.
I’ve been fortunate to be with the transplant team since its inception, thus, I’ve personally worked with Sunshine Communication Services for over 9 years. They know our system, respond to our needs, and are open to changes as the world of procurement and transplant evolves. I can’t think of any other service I would trust with this important task. They are consistent, professional, and reliable, which is imperative in this line of business.
