The success of any business is greatly determined by its customer service. In this age of technology and growth, the traditional style of two or three friendly employees to greet a customer has gone by the wayside. Customers often contact a company by phone for a variety of reasons before they visit the building in which it is housed. Since a visual presence is lacking in these cases, it is essential that the phone staff communicate friendliness and efficiency to the customer. Many companies are heavily involved in developing and marketing their product or service and easily overlook the importance of customer service over the phone.
